About Jay J. Rubin, M.D.
Jay J. Rubin, M.D. has engaged in the private practice of Neurology in Florida since 1986. He obtained a B.S. degree in Chemistry and a B.A. degree in Psychology at the University of Miami in 1977. He obtained an M.D. degree in 1982 and completed neurology residency in 1986 at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Rubin specializes in general neurology, neuromuscular disease, chronic pain evaluation, and sleep disorders. Multidisciplinary treatment and preventive care are strongly promoted by Dr. Rubin and his staff.
Dr. Rubin is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. Dr. Rubin is a member and a past president of the Marion County Medical Association. His other professional memberships include the Florida Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Rubin has extensive research experience and has been involved in numerous publications. His most recent publication is titled "Psychosomatic Pain: New Insights and Management Strategies" and can be found in the November of 2005 issue of Southern Medical Journal.
Neurological Associates is the name of the group in which Dr. Rubin and his associates provide neurological care. Medical offices are in two locations:
